What Is 5456 Aluminum?<\/h2>\n

5456 is a high-magnesium (about 5 percent) non-heat-treatable 5xxx alloy and one of the strongest of the work-hardenable grades. It combines high strength with excellent corrosion resistance in marine and aggressive environments, and is used where 5083 is not quite strong enough.<\/p>\n
