What Is 5454 Aluminum?<\/h2>\n

5454 is a non-heat-treatable 5xxx alloy containing about 2.7 percent magnesium with manganese. It offers higher strength than 3003 or 5052 while keeping very good corrosion resistance, including resistance to stress corrosion cracking. These traits make it a common choice for welded pressure equipment and marine structures.<\/p>\n

Guida alla scelta della tempra<\/h2>\n

Use H32 or H34 for formed and welded parts that need moderate strength. H111 and H112 are suited to structural and pressure components, while O provides the best formability for deep drawing or bending.<\/p>\n
