What Is 5059 Aluminum?<\/h2>\n

5059 aluminum is a high-magnesium 5xxx-series alloy developed for marine and structural applications that require the highest levels of corrosion resistance combined with strength. It carries approximately 5.0-6.0% magnesium, supported by manganese, chromium, and a deliberate zirconium addition that refines the grain structure and improves strength after welding.
