Qualquer alum\u00ednio que possa sobreviver a d\u00e9cadas de spray salino, carga de tra\u00e7\u00e3o sustentada e impacto constante de ondas sem perder a integridade estrutural merece esse r\u00f3tulo, e as ligas que o conquistam compartilham uma caracter\u00edstica: resistem ao ataque de cloretos e soldam de forma limpa, porque uma embarca\u00e7\u00e3o \u00e9, em sua maioria, uma caixa soldada que vive no oceano. A fam\u00edlia \u00e9 dominada pela s\u00e9rie 5000 (alum\u00ednio-magn\u00e9sio), com a s\u00e9rie 6000 desempenhando um papel mais restrito acima da linha d\u2019\u00e1gua.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Este guia aborda qual alum\u00ednio de grau marinho especificar para cada pe\u00e7a, por que a s\u00e9rie 5000 domina o casco e onde o 6061-T6 se encaixa, apesar de sua resist\u00eancia mais fraca \u00e0 \u00e1gua do mar. As ligas que o possuem formam uma pel\u00edcula densa e autocurativa de \u00f3xido de alum\u00ednio e mant\u00eam a maior parte de sua resist\u00eancia ap\u00f3s a soldagem \u2014 ambos requisitos inegoci\u00e1veis em uma embarca\u00e7\u00e3o. Duas s\u00e9ries fazem o trabalho:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>S\u00e9rie 5000 (Al-Mg).<\/strong> N\u00e3o trat\u00e1vel termicamente; o magn\u00e9sio (aproximadamente 2,5\u20135,5%) forma uma solu\u00e7\u00e3o s\u00f3lida est\u00e1vel que resiste ao ataque de cloretos. A resist\u00eancia vem do trabalho a frio, portanto n\u00e3o h\u00e1 zona trat\u00e1vel termicamente que amole\u00e7a durante a soldagem. Esta \u00e9 a liga do casco, do conv\u00e9s e dos tanques.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>S\u00e9rie 6000 (Al-Mg-Si).<\/strong> Trat\u00e1vel termicamente; atinge maior resist\u00eancia na condi\u00e7\u00e3o T6 e \u00e9 extrudada em formas complexas, mas sua resist\u00eancia \u00e0 corros\u00e3o em \u00e1gua do mar \u00e9 menor e pode sofrer corros\u00e3o intergranular em servi\u00e7o com cloretos. Uma especifica\u00e7\u00e3o mar\u00edtima adequada \u00e9 quase sempre um n\u00famero da s\u00e9rie 5000, com o 6061-T6 como exce\u00e7\u00e3o estrutural.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Por Que a S\u00e9rie 5000 Domina o Trabalho Marinho<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A raz\u00e3o pela qual as ligas 5xxx s\u00e3o chamadas de \u201cguardi\u00e3s dos mares\u201d \u00e9 uma combina\u00e7\u00e3o de tr\u00eas propriedades que as ligas 6xxx apenas parcialmente igualam:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Resist\u00eancia \u00e0 corros\u00e3o em \u00e1gua do mar.<\/strong> O magn\u00e9sio em solu\u00e7\u00e3o s\u00f3lida confere \u00e0s ligas 5xxx excelente resist\u00eancia \u00e0 corros\u00e3o por pites e frestas em ambientes com cloretos, sem necessidade de tratamento t\u00e9rmico especial. As ligas da s\u00e9rie 6000 s\u00e3o boas em atmosfera e exposi\u00e7\u00e3o marinha leve, mas ficam aqu\u00e9m em \u00e1gua salgada cont\u00ednua.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Integridade da solda.<\/strong> Como as ligas 5xxx n\u00e3o s\u00e3o trat\u00e1veis termicamente, a zona afetada pelo calor da solda n\u00e3o sofre superenvelhecimento e perda de resist\u00eancia como ocorre com uma liga tratada termicamente. A efici\u00eancia da junta p\u00f3s-soldagem permanece em torno de 70\u201380% (maior para a 5083), e \u00e9 por isso que cascos e tanques soldados s\u00e3o constru\u00eddos com 5xxx.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Tenacidade em baixas temperaturas.<\/strong> A 5083 em particular mant\u00e9m sua ductilidade at\u00e9 temperaturas criog\u00eanicas (cerca de \u2212196 \u00b0C), raz\u00e3o pela qual \u00e9 o padr\u00e3o global para tanques de transportadores de GNL.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A vantagem que a s\u00e9rie 6xxx conquista, por outro lado, \u00e9 resist\u00eancia por extrus\u00e3o e acabamento superficial: o 6061-T6 usina e anodiza lindamente e oferece maior limite de escoamento, mas pertence a superestruturas e acess\u00f3rios, n\u00e3o a cascos submersos.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">As Ligas Comuns de Grau Marinho<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Seis ligas cobrem quase todos os trabalhos marinhos. Nas temperas H116 ou H321, \u00e9 estabilizada contra corros\u00e3o sob tens\u00e3o, raz\u00e3o pela qual as sociedades classificadoras a especificam para chapas de casco comerciais e militares. Tamb\u00e9m mant\u00e9m sua tenacidade em temperaturas criog\u00eanicas, servindo assim como liga para tanques de GNL.
