Bare 7075 has moderate general corrosion resistance. The T73\/T7351 tempers improve resistance to stress-corrosion cracking, especially in thicker sections.<\/p>\n

Machinability is excellent in the T6 condition. Weldability is poor \u2014 fusion welding is generally not recommended; mechanical fastening or adhesive bonding is preferred.<\/p>\n
