Linsy aluminum bars are produced via a rigorously controlled process to ensure optimal quality for extrusion. Starting with melting and refining in the Melting Furnace, the metal is cast on the Hot Top Casting Platform to form sound ingots. After Homogenization and surface preparation using a Fully Automatic Scalping Machine, the billets are processed through the powerful Extrusion Press (630 tons or more) to achieve precise profiles and superior material structure.

The process begins with melting aluminum scrap and primary ingots in the Melting Furnace to form a molten bath. This is followed by a crucial Refining step, where fluxes and inert gases (such as Argon or Chlorine) are introduced to remove non-metallic inclusions and hydrogen, ensuring the chemical purity of the alloy.
The refined molten metal is transferred to the Hot Top Casting Platform. This system uses direct chill (DC) casting technology with a specialized “hot top” mold to produce solid, dense cylindrical aluminum billets (ingots). This method minimizes surface defects and internal stresses, which are critical for high-quality extrusion performance.
The newly cast billets undergo Homogenization Treatment in a controlled Homogenization Furnace. This high-temperature heat treatment step is essential for dissolving and uniformly distributing the alloying elements throughout the billet, stabilizing the microstructure, and significantly improving the material’s plasticity and responsiveness to subsequent extrusion.
The surface layer of the cast billet, which often contains slight imperfections or oxide layers, is removed by a Fully Automatic Scalping Machine. This process ensures a clean, smooth, and consistent surface finish, preventing contaminants from being driven into the profile during the high-pressure extrusion process.
The prepared billet is heated and forced through a shaped die using a powerful Extrusion Press (630 tons or more). This high-pressure shaping process transforms the cylindrical billet into the desired profile (rod, bar, or complex shape), ensuring excellent surface finish, tight dimensional tolerances, and mechanical strength.
Once the extruded profile cools and is stretched (optional step for temper), it is cut to the required Fixed Length using high-speed, precision Sawing Machines. This ensures that every aluminum rod or profile section meets the exact size specifications required for customer fabrication and manufacturing lines.
Linsy Alu. has successfully achieved certification for the ISO 9001, ISO 14001, SGS and OHSAS 1800 to assure utmost quality for our customers.
