8011 is an aluminum–iron–silicon alloy optimized for thin-gauge and formed products. Its iron and silicon content promotes fine grain and good rollability, while keeping enough ductility for deep drawing. It is the workhorse alloy for household and packaging foil, pharmaceutical closure stock, and a range of formed sheet parts.
