6951 aluminum is a heat-treatable 6000-series alloy developed as a brazing-sheet core material for radiators and heat exchangers. Its balanced silicon and magnesium content gives good strength after brazing while resisting core erosion during vacuum or controlled-atmosphere brazing. Linsy supplies 6951 as sheet, coil, tube, bar, and wire in O, T4, and T6 tempers.
Formulários disponíveis: sheet / coil, tube, bar / rod, wire
Temperamentos comuns: T6, T4, O
Suporte ao processamento: CNC machining, laser cutting, TIG/MIG welding, anodizing, polishing, powder coating
Documentos de qualidade: MTC report with every order
6951 is commonly used as the core layer of clad brazing sheet, paired with a cladding alloy such as 4343 or 4045 on one or both faces. During the brazing cycle the cladding melts and flows to seal joints, while the 6951 core keeps the assembly strong and formable. It is widely specified in automotive and HVAC heat exchangers.

Soft core for maximum formability before brazing; often the as-clad supplied condition.
Solution heat treated and naturally aged; good forming plus moderate strength.
Peak strength after artificial aging; used where the core must carry load after brazing.
Engineered to survive vacuum and controlled-atmosphere brazing with low core erosion.
Good heat transfer for compact cooling systems.
Resists atmospheric and chemical attack for long service life.
Forms into fins, manifolds, and intricate heat-exchanger shapes.
6951 is normally supplied as clad brazing sheet (core plus 4343/4045 cladding) for furnace brazing. It forms well and can be welded where cladding is absent, but the brazing cladding must be protected from contamination. Anodizing is possible but less common than for decorative 6xxx alloys.
Every order ships with a Mill Test Certificate (MTC) recording composition and mechanical results. Our quality system is certified to ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001. Third-party SGS test reports can be arranged on request. Inspection covers dimensions, surface condition, and mechanical verification by temper.
Linsy Aluminum is a Shenzhen-based aluminum manufacturer with more than 20 years of experience supplying the 1000 to 8000 series in plate, bar, tube, wire, coil, profile, and block forms. For 6951 aluminum, we support both off-the-shelf ranges and made-to-order dimensions.

Almost always as the core of clad brazing sheet, with a lower-melting cladding alloy such as 4343 or 4045 on one or both faces. Specify cladding when requesting a quote.
3003 is a non-heat-treatable brazing core with lower strength; 6951 is heat-treatable and stronger after brazing, suiting higher-pressure exchangers.
O or T4 are common as-supplied conditions because they form easily before the braze cycle; T6 cores are used where post-braze strength matters.
Custom sizes and tempers usually ship within 10 to 60 days. Confirm the exact window when you request a quote, as it depends on alloy, temper, dimensions, and order quantity.
MOQ is flexible and reviewed case by case. Small lots and prototypes can often be accommodated; larger or standard runs are more economical. Share your required dimensions and quantity for a firm quote.
