6951 aluminum is a heat-treatable 6000-series alloy developed as a brazing-sheet core material for radiators and heat exchangers. Its balanced silicon and magnesium content gives good strength after brazing while resisting core erosion during vacuum or controlled-atmosphere brazing. What Is 6951 Aluminum?

6951 is commonly used as the core layer of clad brazing sheet, paired with a cladding alloy such as 4343 or 4045 on one or both faces.
