Assistance technique : cut-to-length / CNC / anodizing / polishing
Documents relatifs à la qualité : Rapport MTC joint à chaque commande
6062 is a 6000-series, heat-treatable alloy closely related to 6061. Its balanced magnesium-silicon chemistry gives good strength after heat treatment while remaining easy to form and weld. It is often selected where a clean, consistent anodized finish is required.
Thickness 0.5 – 150 mm, width 1000 – 3000 mm, length 1000 – 6000 mm.
Round bar diameter 6 – 400 mm; tube outer diameter 6 – 400 mm with wall 0.5 – 40 mm; length 1000 – 6000 mm.
Standard and custom profiles are available; wire is supplied in diameters of 0.8 – 12 mm on coils of 10 – 500 kg.

6062 is valued for a clean, uniform anodized appearance, which supports architectural and decorative use.
It forms and welds readily, making it practical for complex fabricated shapes.
Good general resistance in atmospheric and mild industrial environments.
Linsy Aluminum is a Shenzhen-based supplier with more than 20 years of experience in distributing and processing aluminum alloys from the 1000 to 8000 series. We support buyers with cut-to-length, CNC machining, welding preparation, surface finishing, and documented quality control.
Orders are handled against agreed lead times, and each lot is shipped with the corresponding MTC. Our team works with procurement, engineering, and fabrication customers to match the right temper and form to the application.
The two alloys share very similar chemistry and properties; 6062 is often chosen where a particularly consistent anodized surface is important.
Yes. It welds well with standard aluminum processes, using 4043 or 5356 filler depending on the service condition.
6062 is typically supplied in O, T4, T6, and T651; confirm availability for your required form.
Standard stock sizes are usually dispatched within 10 – 60 days depending on temper, form, and finishing. Custom-cut or specially heat-treated material is confirmed at quotation.
Yes. An MTC is supplied with every order, and third-party test reports (for example SGS) can be arranged on request.
We can work to ASTM, EN, GB/T, JIS, and customer-specific drawings. Please share the required standard when requesting a quote.
