7075 aluminum square bar is one of the strongest commercially available aluminum sections, with zinc as the primary alloying element delivering strength comparable to many steels at roughly one-third the weight. Linsy supplies 7075 square bar in T6, T651, T7351 and T7451 tempers for aircraft structures, molds, dies, fixtures and high-stress machine parts where rigidity is non-negotiable.

In the T6 and T651 tempers it reaches peak tensile strength (~570 MPa); the T73/T7351 and T7451 tempers trade some strength for improved resistance to stress-corrosion cracking, which matters for thicker sections and outdoor or corrosive service.

T6 / T651 — maximum strength, best for machined parts and fixtures. T7351 / T7451 — improved stress-corrosion resistance for structural parts in corrosive or outdoor service. 7075 is not a marine-grade alloy; for seawater exposure consider a cladding or a different grade and confirm with our engineers.
Among the strongest aluminum sections, ideal where mass matters.
Cuts cleanly in T6/T651; use rigid tooling and flood coolant.
7075 is generally not recommended for fusion welding; use mechanical fastening.
Aircraft structures, molds and dies, high-stress machine parts, fasteners and fittings, defense and sporting goods.
We offer CNC machining, precision saw cutting, anodizing and polishing. 7075 work-hardens; use sharp tooling. For corrosion service, anodizing plus a sealant is advised.
Every order ships with an MTC (material test certificate). SGS third-party test reports are available on request. Linsy holds ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001.
