6061 Aluminum Flat Bar is made from 6061, one of the most widely used heat-treatable aluminum alloys. Its balanced mix of magnesium and silicon gives good strength after the T6/T651 aging treatment while keeping the material easy to machine and weld.
In T6 condition it delivers strong structural performance, which is why it appears across architecture, transport, and general engineering.

T6 flat bar carries real structural load at a fraction of steel’s weight.
Cuts and drills cleanly, ideal for CNC-produced brackets and parts.
Joins reliably by TIG/MIG; design around post-weld temper loss.
Handles atmospheric and mild marine exposure with optional anodizing.

Yes. It is supplied in O, T4, T6, T651, and T6511; T6/T651 are the structural tempers.
T651 is stress-relieved by stretching after aging, giving better dimensional stability and less warping after machining.
Yes. Standard and custom lengths are supplied cut to your dimension list.
MOQ depends on form and temper. Standard sections and tempers can start from a few hundred kilograms; custom-dimension or special-temper orders are reviewed case by case.
For stock-available tempers, lead time is typically 10–30 days. Custom extrusion or heat-treated conditions may take up to 60 days. Confirm with our sales team at enquiry.
Yes. We offer cutting, CNC machining, welding, anodizing, and polishing. Provide your drawings or dimension list with the enquiry.
Every order ships with an MTC. SGS or other third-party test reports can be arranged on request.
