What Is 6016 Aluminum Alloy?

6016 aluminum is a heat-treatable Al–Mg–Si alloy tuned for automotive outer body panels. It forms easily in the T4 temper and develops higher strength during the paint-bake cycle, while delivering a smooth painted or anodized surface.
